Blanket Cape Fall 2014

I hate to be repetitive, and generally don’t write twice in a row of a piece or brand, but I can not pretend not to notice one of the strongest trends of this fall. If yesterday my attention was focused on the beautiful Burberry Prorsum Blanked cape, now my eye turned not to an piece Must have of a specific brand, but a real trend. Many designers have proposed their own versions of Blanket-Cape, from a very folk version as the one proposed by Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel Paris-Dallas collection, then the most “British” version of Saint Laurent, and yet the essential and modern Chloè Pre -fall, to the more lady-like Chloè fall 2014. And what about the cape worn by Lena Perminova from the Chloè Pre-Fall 2014, this is absolutely a work of art … What about the designers have proposed a piece to keep us warm on cold days and at the same time makes us feel extremely fashion without too much effort. Which one do you prefere? I’ve made ​​my choice.

Odio essere ripetitiva, e generalmente non scrivo due volte di seguito di un capo, ma non posso certo far finta di non notare uno dei trend più forti di questo autunno. Se ieri la mia attenzione si è concentrata sul bellissimo poncho di Burberry Prorsum, adesso il mio sguardo si è rivolto non ad un oggetto Must have di un brand, ma ad un vero e proprio trend. Molti designer hanno proposto le loro versioni della Blanket-Cape, da una versione estremamente folk come quella proposta da Karl Lagerfeld per la collezione Chanel Paris-Dallas, alla versione più “British” di Saint Laurent, e ancora quella essenziale e moderna di Chloè Pre-fall, alla più lady-like di Chloè. E cosa dire della cape indossata da Lena Perminova della collezione Chloè Pre-Fall 2014, questa è assolutamente un opera d’arte…Cosa dire i designer hanno proposto un capo per tenerci al caldo nelle fredde giornate e che allo stesso tempo ci faccia sentire estremamente fashion senza troppi sforzi. Vuoi quale preferite? Io la mia scelta l’ho fatta.

Top 4 Messenger Bags

Ok agree, this is not the kind of bag that I prefer, but how to deny the functionality of  messenger bags? They are absolutely perfect, almost ” indispensable ” to deal with a hectic day out, because you can wear it as crossbody , enabling you to keep your hands free and why not also carry , if necessary ( in my case it almost always is ) a larger bag where to put a tablet , a scarf , extra shoes  … This is my selection for you ( I have not included the PS1 because it seemed obvious) .

Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Crossbody : red leather , the classic work of Bottega Veneta in a messanger . The interior is lined in suede and has an adjustable shoulder strap.

Marni Perforated-Diamond Crossbody: a cross-body bag in Marni style with diamond -shaped holes in front and back , flap closure with metal gold colored details. The shoulder strap is detachable so you can wear this bag as a clutch , I would say ideal for use day-to-night .

Givenchy Mini Pepe Pandora Messenger: wrinkled leather blue bag blue extremely soft and perfect to be worn with a very casual look , suitable for fast movements in the city.

Lulu Saint Laurent Medium Satchel : smooth leather and soft suede come together tone-on-tone in this classic Saint Laurent bag with, made more luxurious thanks to the metal brass colored clasp (among all these this is my favorite)

Ok d’accordo, non è il tipo di borsa che preferisco, ma come poter negare la funzionalità delle messenger? Sono assolutamente perfette, quasi “indispensabili” per affrontare una giornata frenetica fuori casa, perché si indossano a tracolla, permettendo quindi di avere le mani libere e perché no portare anche, se necessario (nel mio caso quasi sempre lo è) una borsa più grande dove mettere un tablet, una sciarpa, delle scarpe extra… Questa è la mia selezione per voi (non ho inserito la PS1 perché mi sembrava scontato).

Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Crossbody: in cuoio rosso, la classica lavorazione di Bottega Veneta in una messanger. Gli interni sono perfettamente foderati in camoscio, e dispone di una tracolla regolabile.

Marni Perforated-Diamond Crossbody: cross body in stile Marni con fori a forma di diamante davanti e dietro, patta con dettaglio chiusura in metallo color oro lucido. La trocolla è staccabile in modo da poter indossare questa borsa anche come clutch, direi ideale per un uso day-to-night.

Givenchy Mini Pepe Pandora Messenger: in pelle di capra blu e rugosa à una borsa estremamente morbida e perfetta per essere indossata con un look estremamente casual, adatto a spostamenti veloci in città.

Saint Laurent Lulu Medium Satchel: pelle liscia e morbido camoscio si fondono insieme tono su tono in questa classica borsa con patta frontale di Saint Laurent, resa lussuosa dalla chiusura in metallo color ottone (tra tutte queste la mia preferita).

La bellissima Miranda Kerr in un favoloso outfit da fashion-mamma ha abbinato i Saint Laurent Rock leather boots, anche il cappotto è Saint Laurent, la maglia a righe bianca e nera di Michael Kors e tocco finale la bella bucket bag di Mansur Gavriel, una borsa che esprime semplicità, longevità e senza dubbio alta qualità. Yes I am a lover of aesthetic duality, this provides a greater sense of complexity, can be a stark contrast, or a perfect marriage, but the two sides of the medal is always intriguing and exciting. This especially when it comes to handbags where sometimes the best combos are the most drastic. That is a trend that has affected several of the top designers, which propose us bags for spring with strong lines, to which the two-tone color fits perfectly. And as a little girl it happen to thrill me in front of such perfection!!!

Si sono un amante del dualismo estetico, questo da un maggiore senso di complessità, può essere un netto contrasto, oppure un perfetto matrimonio, ma le due facce della medaglia sono sempre intriganti ed emozionanti. Questo soprattutto se si tratta di borse dove a volte le combo migliori sono le più drastiche. Waiting for the summer to make us drown in Radiant Orchid, color of the year , among the many delicate nuances , lavender , pink, and mauve, what do you think of recharge during this mid-winter with an injection of vitamin ? In attesa della bella stagione per farci sommergere dal colore dell’anno Radiant Orchid, tra le tante delicate sfumature, lavanda, rosa, e malva, cosa ne dite di ricaricarci in questo periodo di mezzo-inverno con una iniezione di vitamina? When we say that there is no limit to creativity in fashion , we mean it , and I’m not talking about the extravagant looks,  that are presented very often on the runways , but those little details that make the difference . Here this is the point, always find something new and different that can ” refresh” our wardrobe , so here’s a solution : accessories , sweaters, skirts , bags and other garments with zip , a strong trend of the season , which as we seen not abandon us even during the spring / summer … think about the Biker Bags by Miu Miu . Saint Laurent Studded Duffle 3: Too Glam For An It-Bag

We realized how trendy the rebel- chic look is, and this mood has become the focus of collections created by Hedi Slimane for Saint Laurent  “full of rebellion”:  leather, oversized hardware and studs appear a bit  everywhere. What do you think of the iconic Duffle 3 revisited in a punk mood ? I have to admit that the front decoration with micro studs on a bag like this doesn’t  excites me a lot. Certainly, in other cases  studs can give that extra touch and transform a classic bag in a bag extremely glamorous , but in this case I see it is just a stretch, the Duffle 3 is an it-bag for being timeless , with its clean and tudy structure . So , I say it doesn’t  need to demonstrate the aesthetic sense “too cool” in the case of Duffle , to make this bag the object of desire of every fashion addicted. Ok the punk-chic is the  it is the strongest trends of the season , but sometimes it is better to go against the trend . Saint Laurent Studded Duffle 3 is available at Luisa Via Roma .

 Abbiamo capito quanto sia di tendenza il look rebel-chic e quanto questo mood sia diventato il focus delle collezione create da Hedi Slimane per Saint Laurent, cariche di ribellione dove pelle, oversize hardware e borchie compaiono un po’ ovunque. Cosa ne dite dell’iconica Duffle 3 rivista in chiave un po’ punk? Devo ammettere che la decorazione frontale con micro borchie su una borsa come questa dall’essenza piuttosto lineare non mi entusiasma molto. Sicuramente in altri casi le borchie possono dare quel tocco in più e trasformare una borsa classica in una borsa estremamente glamourous, ma in questo caso lo vedo come una forzatura, la Duffle 3 è una it-bag proprio per il suo essere timeless, dalla struttura pulita e ordinata. Quindi, dico io non serve dimostrare il senso estetico troppo “cool” nel caso della Duffle,  per rendere questa borsa l’oggetto del desiderio di ogni fashion addicted, si perfetto il punk-chic è il più forte trend di stagione, ma a volte è meglio andare in contro tendenza.
